About Us

Dedicated to Quality, Guided by Experience

At Intercoastal Pool & Spa, we have spent decades perfecting the craft of pool construction across Florida’s coastal communities. Our team has designed and built hundreds of pools throughout Brevard County and Indian River County, earning the trust of homeowners and property managers who care about real craftsmanship.

We get what makes Florida pool ownership special. The afternoon swims, the weekend barbecues by the water, the grandkids splashing through summer breaks. Those moments matter. That is why every project starts with your vision, your property, and the way you want to live. From the first design meeting to the final walkthrough, we keep you informed and treat your home like our own.

Our work goes well beyond building pools. We remodel dated pools into modern favorites, install screen enclosures that protect your pool from Florida’s weather, and build full outdoor living spaces with paver decks and summer kitchens. With decades of combined team experience, we have handled everything this climate throws at a pool, from saltwater corrosion along the coast to the soil conditions unique to Indian River County lots.

FAQ

Common Questions from Our Clients

How much does a pool really cost in Brevard or Indian River County?

Price is the number one concern we hear, so here is the honest answer. Quality residential pools in our area run from $45,000 to $120,000 or more depending on size, features, and site conditions. Basic rectangular pools with standard equipment start around $45,000 to $60,000. Custom designs with spas, waterfalls, LED lighting, and heating run $75,000 to $120,000 and up.

During your free consultation we provide a detailed estimate that covers everything: excavation, permitting, equipment, decking, and cleanup. No surprise costs. We offer flexible financing, and most clients see $50,000 to $75,000 or more in added home value with the right pool design.

How long does pool construction take, and will it be done before summer?

Most residential pools take 8 to 12 weeks from permit approval to completion. Custom designs with heavy hardscaping or a summer kitchen may take 10 to 14 weeks. Permitting adds 2 to 4 weeks in Brevard County and 3 to 5 weeks in Indian River County.

Want to swim by Memorial Day? Start planning in January or February. For summer completion, begin before March. We give you a realistic timeline during your consultation based on current permit backlogs. Once we start your project, we work straight through to the finish. We never abandon a job to start another one.

How do I know you won't be like the horror-story contractors I've heard about?

We get the fear. Bad contractors give our whole industry a bad name. Here is what makes us different: over 500 completed pools since 1992, fully licensed under Florida CPC055620, insured, and bonded. You can verify our credentials with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

You get a dedicated project manager with a direct cell number who returns calls within four hours. We send weekly progress updates with photos. Our crews show up on schedule and protect your property. Ask for references from neighbors in your community. We have likely built pools within a mile of your home, so you can visit those sites and talk to those owners yourself.

Will a pool work with my property, and how do I handle HOA approvals?

Plenty of homeowners worry their yard is too small, oddly shaped, or that their HOA will reject the design. We have built pools on tricky lots all over coastal Brevard and Indian River County: narrow yards, sloped properties, homes with septic systems, and corner lots with setback rules.

During your free consultation we evaluate your property with a site survey. We identify utility lines, drainage, and design options you may not have pictured. For HOAs, we prepare submission packages with architectural drawings and specs that meet deed restrictions. Most clients who thought their property would not work end up with three custom designs that fit their space perfectly.
